I find journaling a comfortable way to reflect on my day and to connect with my feelings and emotions. On the day-to-day, we may express our happiness or frustrations, but often times, addressing the event may not mean addressing the emotions associated with it.
Journaling can be a great way to give more space for ourselves and write thoughts and feelings out. Believe it or not, for many introverts writing is just a really good way to express themselves.
Often times, us introverts are confronted with our unique personality being perceived as a disadvantage. In such an extrovert-friendly world, showing traits different of extroverts, may raise eyebrows. But let's be real: we have many great traits and we use them in many successful way to contribute to our work, relationships, or even to the wider community.
A typical introvert can be thoughtful, precise, patient, persistent, hard-working, independent, analytical, empathetic and caring, well grounded and concentrated, cautious and deeply listens when in conversations. This is a typical introvert. However, we are all unique individuals, with a unique combination of traits. So in fact, there is no typical introvert, there's many unique individuals with a wide range of traits that may incorporate some of the aforementioned characteristics.
Knowing your strengths can help in many different way:
Builds your confidence as you affirm what you are good at
Enables success as you utilize your strengths in any aspect of your life
Makes you more conscious of your reactions and actions
Helps with understanding why you bond with certain people
Trying to improve a skill that is already your strengths is much easier and rewarding than trying to improve areas of limited strength
Here are some of the most typical introverted strengths, according to Sylvia Loehken: Quiet impact: How to be a successful introvert.

I invite you to grab a pen and paper or your tablet and digital pen and start reflecting on your strengths. See where it takes you.
Here are some prompts for your journaling:
Which introverted strengths do I recognize?
How am I utilizing those skills in work and relationships?
